At Narrogin Primary School all our students from pre-primary to year six engage in Indonesian language lessons. They learn Indonesian songs and culture, basic conversational skills, and information such as colours and numbers.

Our junior students participate in lots of hands-on activities with puppets, painting and play dough, while our senior students participate in conversations, role-playing and storytelling.

We learn Indonesian as they are our closest neighbours and one of our major agricultural trade partners. While learning Indonesian we also incorporate our Noongar Language so that students gain an understanding of different cultures and languages.
